Lars Sandman is professor of care ethics at the University of Borås and guest-professor at Linköping University. He is a nationally leading researcher and consultant in healthcare ethics, especially focusing on healthcare priority setting. Together with Munthe he has done ground-breaking work within the field of theoretical analyses of shared decision-making (see above). He is currently involved in projects relating shared decision-making to priority setting issues at the National Centre for Priority Setting at Linköping University. He will collaborate with Munthe in supervising a PhD candidate within the program and also make further theoretical analyses.
